The importance of good texts
WHAT TO THINK ABOUT
Someone who reads a text goes through a lot, often more than you think. A good text reaches its goal: it informs, incites emotions, makes someone think, or calls to action. The writer of a text should, to reach that goal, remember a few things: what is the goal of the text? Who is my target audience? What is this text for (a website, article, press release, or brochure)? A text shouldn’t be too long or too short. And a text should be SEO friendly.
Spelling mistakes break the reader’s concentration. If a text is too long, the reader will lose attention, if it’s too short the reader still has questions. These are all issues that I take into consideration. Together, we determine your goal and your target audience and I base my text on what it will be used for and apply SEO. Would you rather write yourself? Then you can ask me to check your text, for example, shorten it, or give you feedback. Optimal texts for a happy reader!
