About Nora and Lisa Schultz
THE DYNAMIC DUO!
We, Nora and Lisa Schultz, are sisters and have been working together for quite a number of years. We started this company together in 2012 because we wanted to join forces to make good stuff for our clients, like logos, corporate identities, texts, and websites that make them super proud! Especially professional and enthusiastic visibility is very important, because no matter how good your idea is, if no one knows about it, you are doing everything for no reason and that is such a waste of time!
Lisa has been a graphic designer since 1998. Her specializations are logos, complete house styles, and web design. Our clients say she is creative and involved.
Nora loves language and is a commercial writer with knowledge of marketing and SEO. The right words to tell your story, in Dutch – her mother tongue – or English – her father tongue. She gets to the core of your message and helps you to make the text comprehensible and concise.
If we are excited about your company, product, or service, and there’s a click, then we’d love to help you to discover how we can best promote your business and tell the right people about it. Who can we help with what you do? What is your perfect customer and where can we reach them? Let’s go for it!
We work with enthusiastic and driven super entrepreneurs (also starting) who want to reposition, rebrand, or go international.
LISA’S BACKGROUND
In 1999, I finished my college education in Corporate Presentation, with a specialization in graphic design, at the Hogeschool Holland. I continue to combine the three most important pillars: marketing, communication, and design. I am a designer who focuses on the result and have a strong commercial approach. After my education, I worked at a wholesaler in promotional gifts and, after that, for many years in photography, which I still love. I like to combine my graphic designs with photography in print and web design. I use my synesthesia (seeing colors and shapes when you hear words and hear names) for a fitting and professional business identity for clients.

NORA AND LISA AS A TEAM
We always wanted to start a little shop together, preferably under the stairs. We sold drawings and plastic bags to our parents for 10 cents apiece. Later, we learned a lot from those parents by working at their photo agency. There, we learned everything about the freedom and responsibilities that come with owning your own company.
In 2002, they started their own foundation, Stichting Smiles, which made us realize what a good team we are. We thoroughly enjoy working together and complement each other well. Lisa is more of a feelings person and Nora is more pragmatic. At Sure Connection, we also complement each other well, now with words and images. With our combined knowledge, way of working, and motivation, we want to help our clients with a strong story and attract more clients themselves.
NORA’S BACKGROUND
I am the word nerd of our duo. Crazy about reading and writing, about as many different subjects as possible. I like to get to know the person I am writing for, and, of course, the person who is going to read it. It is very important to me what a text does. How do you enthuse someone to take that next step? Inform and enthuse, those are the core values of my texts.
As the eldest of two daughters with an American father and a Dutch mother, I learned English from birth. It is my father tongue, like Dutch is my mother tongue. With a lot of affinity and love for language, and my bilingual upbringing, I am a natural and capable commercial writer in both languages.
BACKGROUND
A long, long time ago, I studied Culture & Policy. Planning and organizing cultural activities played a big part. I ended up choosing the specialization “international film festivals” and did a 4-month internship at the London Film Festival. I gained a lot of commercial experience during my long stint at a photo agency. I still love “selling”, because you can really convey a good product or service from your heart. It can better people’s lives!
